Law at the Library - Free Legal Workshops on Wills and Powers of Attorney

LAW AT THE LIBRARY: HALDIMAND COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY OFFERS FREE LEGAL WORKSHOPS ON WILLS AND POWERS OF ATTORNEY


HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON – Haldimand County Public Library has partnered with the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Community Legal Clinic to provide free legal information workshops during the month of April. The workshops will provide legal information on the topics of completing a will and power of attorney (POA). Workshop information is presented by a bar registered lawyer who will be available to answer legal inquiries regarding wills and POAs.

Free legal information workshops locations and dates are: 

  • Tuesday April 5th at Caledonia Public Library (100 Haddington Street)
  • Tuesday April 11th at Hagersville Public Library (13 Alma Street North)
  • Tuesday April 18th at Selkirk Public Library (34 Main Street West)
  • Thursday April 20th at Jarvis Public Library (2 Monson Street)

 

All Workshops begin at 6pm and registration is required as space is limited. To register, interested individuals may call 289-674-0400 to confirm a space.
