Service Description: A support group for stroke survivors, their family and caregivers. Meetings are informal and provide the opportunity for "Stroke Folks" and their caregivers to discuss everyday issues and experiences (if they wish).

Usually the group meets together for approximately 45 minutes and then separates into two groups (survivor and caregiver). These separate sessions allow specific issues related to each group to be addressed.

SOS also invites guest speakers to address the questions and issues of the group.

Meeting: Afternoon Meeting 1st Thu at 1:30 pm at St John's Anglican Church, 3428 Portage Rd, Niagara Falls. (Dec and July meetings held at alternate times - call for details) Evening Meeting 2nd Mon at 7 pm at Niagara Region headquarters at 2201 St David's Rd, Campbell West Building, Thorold
Fees: Donation - appreciated (to cover the cost of coffee, tea and goodies)
