Service Description: Provides support, resources and services to children, youth, adults, parents, caregivers, educational providers and support workers impacted by or working with those impacted by learning disabilities and/or ADD/ADHD.

Major services:
  • parent support through parent support group facilitation and in school support as needed
  • one to one remediation literacy and/or math instruction
  • keyboarding classes - children ages 8-14
  • assistive technology training in equipped computer lab
  • on-site loaning library - books, videos and resource materials
  • community education through annual lecture series and conference
  • programs and services updates/registrations available through website

Fees: Membership - provides reduced fees and access to resource library, LDAO Communique newsletter twice a year * Program - program fees vary for a family or individual member * information and support services are free
Application: program application forms and membership forms are available on the LDA Halton website
* phone calls and emails are also accepted
