Service Description:
|
The program helps seniors to stay connected with friends and family by using technology * participants will receive individual training in their own home, once a week for three months * training is provided by volunteers * tablets are available on loan and access to the internet can be provided, if required * TAP volunteer opportunities available, apply online

- internet
- email
- texting/messaging
- social media
- video calls (FaceTime, Zoom)
- games
- online safety
Tech Cafes offer free drop-in tech help to older adults * trained volunteers provide one-on-one support to help with navigating the device, using apps, texting, sharing photos, email, internet, online safety and more * offered at 2 locations
