Service Description:
|
Offers resources, information, and supports related to oral health to residents of Halton Region
- oral health screenings by a Registered Dental Hygienist at schools, the community Public Health clinic, and in community settings (e.g. childcare settings, neighbourhood groups etc)
- in-person or virtual oral health screenings available for children under age 17 by appointment only
- oral health counselling and referrals to other agencies/services when needed
- oral health promotion and education in the community
- oral health resources for the long-term care sector
- oral health resources for teachers which are in line with learning blocks and strands of the Ontario Curriculum
Facilitates financial assistance for dental treatment for meet the eligibility criteria for:
