Service Description:

Specialized support and emergency services for people who are deafblind
Intervenor Services - intervenor facilitates communication of a person who is deafblind with other people, and helps them in interacting with surrounding environment * supports client with activities of daily living
Emergency Intervenor Services - people who are deafblind can contact an intervenor if they are in an emergency situation
Literacy Program - Literacy and basic skills program for people who are deafblind * one-on-one or small group instruction

Eligibility / Target Population:
|
Intervenor Services: Deafblind Ontario residents 18 years and older or out of high school
Literacy Program: Deafblind Ontario residents 19 years and older whose literacy skills are below Grade 12 level, and who have the proficiency to benefit fully from the language of instruction
