Service Description: Provides emergency and on-going assistance with food, clothing and shelter to eligible residents in need

Services include:

Food bank - offers food to eligible residents of Simcoe in need * assessment required and service is by appointment only

Emergency assistance - provides short-term assistance for those in immediate need * food, clothing, accommodation, infant needs, furnishings, transportation, and medical assistance * email for more information

Community programs:
  • anger management program at $100
  • Community lunch - community meal May to Sep every Tue 11:30am
  • Community kitchen workshop - monthly gathering every 3rd Thu of the month 9am-1pm * no charge, pre-registration required * limited spaces available
  • Home with a heart - parenting support group * homemaking school
  • Ontario Elecricity Support Program - Help for low-income Ontarians * by appointment only
  • Salvation Army camps at Jackson's Point- Adventure Summer camp for children aged 6-15 years * Moms and kids Summer camp for mothers and their children aged 0-10 years
  • Christmas hamper and toy program - toys for children aged 14 years and under * food hamper to assist families and individuals during Christmas
  • Community Christmas program - apply in person
