Service Description: Provides emergency and on-going assistance with food, clothing and shelter to eligible residents in need

Programs include:
  • Food bank - offers emergency food and other necessities * open Tue, Wed and Thu 9:30am-12noon
  • Clothing/furniture assistance - available to people who have experienced a fire, emergency evacuation, or other crises causing loss of belongings
  • Summer camp - children participate in fun activities such as swimming, crafts, and team-building exercises * meals available
  • Christmas assistance program: gifts of food and toys for local families in need at Christmas
  • Red cap anger management program - for youths aged 8-12 years and run in schools during lunch period * not faith-based
  • Anger and conflict management program for adults - designed to help individuals manage excessive anger and make better choices * for adults 18 years and above
  • Niagara mobile outreach - street outreach truck * provides meals, basic goods, information and support for people who are homeless and other high risk individuals in need
  • Emergency disaster services - provides emotional and spiritual support, registration and inquiry help, shelter, transportation, emergency housing, feeding or clothing
  • Volunteer program - opportunities for interested individuals who are seeking to assist in their community * programs that utilize volunteers are food bank, mobile outreach, red cap, Christmas kettles and the Christmas hamper preparation
