24 - Urinary Incontinence - Burlington

Upon completion of interRAI Home Care Assessment, Client Assessment Protocols (CAPs) are triggered. The CAPs are intended to assist with focusing care planning around key issues identified during the assessment process.

This CAP identifies any urinary incontinence in a person and determines the cause. Goals of care include improving bladder function in people who could benefit from appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic measures, and preventing increasing degrees in incontinence in people who are already incontinent.

See Continence Care and Supports and Medical Equipment and Supplies - Sales and Rentals for care options for people who trigger this CAP.
