Service Description:
|
This unit provides assessment and treatment for older people experiencing a wide range of psychiatric disorders. This is a short-stay program. Also provides ECT and peer support.

|
Application:
|
Referral from family physician required. All referrals to the inpatient unit are sent to CASS (centralized access to specialized services) and are then reviewed. Referrals are prioritized on urgency as well as date received.
