Service Description:

Community-based HIV/AIDS organization * education, advocacy, information, and referrals
Support Services - Practical support for individuals living with HIV (emergency food bank, health promotion programs, transportation to medical appointments, support groups, prison outreach support, referrals) * individualized one-on-one supports (trained counselors provide client centered support to individuals living with HIV or AIDS, individuals affected by HIV or AIDS, and individuals who are at-risk for HIV infection)
African, Caribbean, and Black Outreach Program - Aims to create and enhance a community based response to HIV while being culturally relevant to all African, Caribbean and Black people * offers culturally specific training workshops on HIV and social determinants of health, culturally safer sex kits, resources, and newsletters * culturally specific community forums, health promotion and appropriate external support * behavioral changes to reduce risk of transmission * monthly support community kitchens
Harm Reduction Outreach - Provides supportive counselling services, direct outreach to people using drugs (practical support, referrals etc), participates in community based initiatives, leads training for local service providers, promotes harm reduction, and works to address stigma and building capacity to address societal and systemic issues for people who use drugs * additional services include peer opportunities
Men4Men - Aims to enhance the lives of gay, bisexual, queer and other men who have sex with men by reinforcing self-esteem and personal empowerment through sexual health education and resources * partners with Hamilton Public Health Services to provide free sexual health services
Women and HIV - Education and training workshops, community education forums, safer sex kits and newsletters, resources and testing information, and volunteer opportunities
GetaKit (Self Testing) - An online portal that gives Ontarians access to discreet testing for HIV and other STBBIs * aims to increase HIV testing, the frequency of testing, the number of people who know their status, and the number of people linked to treatment and care
