Service Description: Family support, consultation, and intervention services for children diagnosed with blindness or non correctable low vision * intervention consultant work with parents to support child's development in:
  • communication and language
  • fine and gross motor skills
  • understanding and thought processes
  • social skills
  • daily living skills



Application: Accepts referrals from a physician, ophthalmologist, optometrist, parent, or caregiver * application form available on website
Eligibility / Target Population: Children who have been diagnosed with blindness or low vision
Languages: English ; French
Language Notes: French interpretation available upon request
Area Served: Brant, Haldimand, Hamilton, Norfolk, and Niagara Region
