Service Description: Counsellors help participants navigate access to Neighbour to Neighbour services and also provide referrals to community services as needed * additional services include:
  • OneSite free eyeglasses program for low-income earning persons without health benefits for eyeglasses
  • referrals for employment programs * offsite, available by direct referral * signed consent required
  • settlement services * available onsite, drop-in and by appointment during food bank hours
  • Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP) * available onsite by appointment
  • Low-income Electricity Assistance Program (LEAP) * available onsite by appointment
  • financial advocacy and financial counselling * available onsite by appointment
  • community transitional support worker, interval house and Hamilton women’s centre * available onsite, drop-in and by appointment * Tue morning
  • Trans and Non-Binary food bank facilitated with 2 Spirit LGBTQAI+ community development worker * onsite last Fri monthly, 1pm-3pm
  • Xperience Annex, youth employment and education supports onsite last Fri monthly, 1pm-3pm * free legal assistance * offsite, available by direct referral * signed consent required
  • free therapeutic counselling for children, youth and their caregivers, 0-18 yrs * available onsite at 310 Limeridge Rd, Unit 10 * drop-in Tue 9am-7pm
  • EarlyON Centre * available Mon, Fri 9am-1pm
  • daycare fee subsidy worker * Onsite Fri during EarlyON, and by appointment
