Service Description: Supports for victims and witnesses of crime to help them understand, and participate in, the criminal court process * services provided on priority basis to the most vulnerable victims and witness of violent crime * services include:
  • crisis intervention
  • emotional support
  • case-specific information
  • court preparation and orientation information
  • needs assessment
  • referral to community agencies

Application: Call * accepts referrals by police, Crown Attorney, and community agency
Eligibility / Target Population: Victims and witnesses of violent crime such as child abuse, sexual assault, human trafficking, elder abuse, domestic violence, motor vehicle fatalities, homicide, and hate crimes
Languages: English ; French
Language Notes: French reception * brochures available in many other languages
Area Served: Lincoln, Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake, St Catharines, Thorold, and West Lincoln
